Dear parents, guardians, and friends of Llwyn yr Eos.
We have some excellent news to share with you!
On Saturday, 3rd December the school held a Birdy’s Bingo evening. This was a massive success due to the hard work of Cllr. Carl Worrall and a parent at the school Mr. Stuart Bird.
The evening helped raise £1639.00 for the school. We would like to thank everyone who supported and attended the event. A special thank you must also go to the local businesses who kindly donated items for the raffle and bingo prizes. We really are grateful for your support.
And the good news doesn’t stop there!
Cllr. Worrall visited the school on Monday to let us know that Martin Samuel from Aberystwyth Round Table had contacted him to say that they had decided to match the £1639.00 raised. As a result of this excellent news the school has received a grand total of £3,278.00.
The pupil representatives of the School Council will meet on Thursday to discuss ways to spend this money. Our hope is to buy something which we can share with our community as a way of saying thank you for all their help and support throughout the years.
We will update you on the decision of the school council as to how and what we will spend the money on.
