Dear Parents/Guardians,

It has been another busy term which has flown by! One highlight was the school Eisteddfod. which  all children and staff were able to attend. You can have a look at pictures from the day as well as keeping up to date with all our excellent work by following our school twitter page @llwynyreos

Parents Evening – Tuesday 28.03

A reminder that parents evening will be held on Tuesday 28.03. Please speak to your child’s class teacher if you have not received your allocated time slot.

Gymnastics Championship for pupils with Additional Learning Needs

Congratulations to the children who took part in the gymnastics championship this week.  The school is immensely proud of you. There are some excellent photos of the children on the school Twitter page!

Easter Holidays

A reminder that the school closes for the Easter Holidays on Thursday March 30th and will reopen on Monday 17th April.

BMO After School Club

Year 1 will have the opportunity to access BMO coaching after school club after the Easter holidays. The club runs on a Wednesday after school from 3:15-4:15. The club will start on the second week back after Easter on Wednesday 26th April. Mrs Lucy Davies will be in touch with Year 1 parents after the Easter holidays regarding this.

Swimming

Blwyddyn 4 will be swimming every Wednesday after the Easter holidays beginning 19th April. Friday arrangements for Resource Bases will remain the same.

Sports Day

Dates for this year’s sports day are as follows –

 

  • Tuesday 6th June – Years 2,3,4,5 &6
  • Wednesday 7th June – Infants and Resource Bases classes

In the event of bad weather:

  • Thursday 8th June – Infants classes and Resource Bases (BACK UP DATE)
  • Friday 9th June - Years 2,3,4,5 &6 (BACK UP DATE)

More information will follow with regards to sports day but we would like to give you as much notice as possible so you can make the appropriate arrangements.

As ever, if you have any concerns or queries, then please do not hesitate in getting in touch the school is here to support all pupils and families.

Our priority after the Easter holidays is to continue to develop our parental engagement and community links following successful parent drop in’s, Aber Dad’s sessions and the Year 3 ‘Sport for Families’ initiative this term. Please keep an eye out for more projects in the near future designed to strengthen our links with you and the whole community.
