Dear Parents and Guardians,
A reminder that on Wednesday 12th July, children and staff are welcome to dress up in 50’s clothing or bring in any memories, photos, or artefacts etc. This is to celebrate our 70 year anniversary as a school.
We hope you are looking forward to the 70 year anniversary party after school on Wednesday 12th July from 3:00 – 6:00.
Our aim is to hold the event outside of the juniors building.The forecast is changing daily. In the event of bad weather, the party will move inside the school.
We have a fantastic afternoon lined up and we can’t wait to bring the community together!We have a DJ, two bouncy castles, face paints, tatoos, a lucky dip as well as other activities. The main event has to be the ‘SOAK THE TEACHERS’. I’m sure this will prove to be very popular!!
As a school we would like to take this opportunity to thank all local businesses and companies who have kindly donated towards our raffle. We have an incredible raffle with unbelievable prizes. You will not want to miss out!
Raffle tickets will be sold every morning and afternoon this week in the build up to the anniversary. If you wish to buy a raffle ticket prior to the event, please see Miss Iola Lloyd-Hughes in the main reception of the school, Mr Steffan Davies in the juniors or Mrs Lucy Davies in the infants. Raffle tickets are £1.
Food will be available in the junior canteen. Burgers, hot dogs, chips, cakes and both hot and cold drinks will be available.
This is a cash only event. All money raised will go straight back to the school for the benefit of the children. We will use the money to fund resources for classrooms as well as external areas and extra-curricular activities.
