Mrs Jane Thorogood is the class teacher in Y6. We are also very fortunate to have Ms Suzanne Llewelyn teaching alongside Mrs Thorogood. The class is supported by Miss Anna and Mrs Evans. 
All our learning is done through our themes, which can last anything from a week to half a term!
Examples of the themes we have been studying are World War II, What on Earth!, Entrepreneurship, and Making Choices . 
Pupils are always involved in the choice of theme.
P.E is on a Monday afternoon, we try and go outside for PE as much as we can. We go swimming on a Wednesday morning in Plas Crug pool. 
Our main aim for year 6 is to prepare pupils for secondary school. Therefore we work increasingly on developing independent learning and responsibility, both in the classroom and around the school.
